Based on information available on the website of the State Administration for Market Regulation, BMW (China) Automobile Trading Co., Ltd. has submitted a recall proposal to the Administration. This submission adheres to the "Regulations on the Administration of the Recall of Defective Automotive Products" and its corresponding implementation guidelines, with the recall designated under the number S2026M0040V. The recall will commence from today and encompasses certain Rolls-Royce Cullinan vehicles manufactured between January 10, 2020, and March 11, 2024, amounting to a total of 51 units.

The rationale behind this recall is the potential oversight in tightening the rear seat backrest latch brackets and seat belt fixing bolts to the specified torque levels in some vehicles. This oversight may lead to loosened bolts. In extreme scenarios, the seat backrest might not latch securely, or the seat belt webbing could sustain damage, thereby failing to adequately safeguard the vehicle's occupants. This situation elevates the risk of injury, presenting a significant safety concern.
