The milestone 5000th BYD flash-charging station was officially inaugurated at the Jiejiazui Service Area along the Qinglan Expressway in Lanzhou, Gansu Province. This marks a pivotal advancement in the 'Flash-Charging China' initiative, significantly bolstering the expressway charging infrastructure in central and western regions of the country. Concurrently, the inaugural batch of flash-charging stations at expressway service areas across various provinces and cities, including Jiangsu, Hebei, and Hainan, commenced operations, further thickening the national flash-charging grid.
Since unveiling the 'Flash-Charging China' strategy, BYD has expedited the rollout of flash-charging stations, now spanning 297 cities nationwide. This move has effectively eased the travel woes of new energy vehicle (NEV) owners. Previously, BYD had outlined an ambitious plan to establish 20,000 flash-charging stations by the end of 2026. The launch of these latest stations underscores BYD's unwavering dedication to honoring its strategic commitments and actively shouldering its social responsibilities.
Looking ahead, BYD is poised to continue championing the widespread adoption of new energy vehicles and fostering the growth of green transportation.
