In response to this incident, Mu Jun, the Deputy General Manager of LYNK&CO Sales Co., Ltd., extended an apology and addressed the situation. He acknowledged a flaw in the model that allowed for the unintended turning off of the headlights through voice control. The technical team swiftly devised an optimization strategy and implemented a system update via cloud technology. Following this update, the vehicle will automatically revoke the pertinent voice control capabilities while in motion, necessitating manual intervention from users to switch off the headlights, thereby mitigating potential driving safety hazards.
