On February 26, during the Guangzhou High-Quality Development Conference, XPENG Motors officially declared the submission of its comprehensive full-chain mass production facility for humanoid robots. This initiative has been earmarked as a pivotal "good start" project within Tianhe District. The production base is slated to be situated in the Embodied AI Industrial Park, nestled within Guangtang Science and Technology Innovation City, and will encompass a sprawling construction area of roughly 110,000 square meters. He Xiaopeng, the Chairman of XPENG Motors, articulated the company's ambition to pioneer the global market by becoming the inaugural enterprise to attain large-scale mass production of sophisticated humanoid robots by the close of 2026.
