Overseas automotive media outlets have reported that new car registrations in the EU, UK, and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) regions experienced a 3.5% year-on-year decline in January 2026. Among these, Tesla witnessed a significant drop in new car registrations, with a 17% decrease, reaching only 8,075 units. Consequently, its market share fell from 1.0% the previous year to 0.8%, marking a 13-month consecutive period of decline.
