Recently, Tesla has launched a new version of the Model Y rear-wheel-drive long-range model. Official data shows that the previous WLTP range for this model was 622 kilometers, but the new version's range has decreased to 603 kilometers, a reduction of 19 kilometers. The new model has abandoned the LG 5M battery pack and switched to Tesla's self-developed 4680 8L battery pack, marking the first time the second-generation 4680 battery has been installed in this model.
