This innovative function capitalizes on NIO's proprietary NIO Link protocol stack, enabling seamless and profound cooperation as well as intelligent cross-device interconnection between smartphones and vehicles. It accurately anticipates user intentions through sophisticated algorithms. Users can effortlessly initiate the automatic opening and closing of both the front and rear trunks by merely standing still or giving their phone a gentle shake, eliminating the need to unlock the phone or launch the app. For instance, a simple shake of the phone can open or close the front trunk of the brand-new NIO ES8, and also close the vehicle's rear trunk. Presently, all NIO Phone models are compatible with vehicle control operations for the NIO ET9 and the brand-new ES8.
