Earlier, on January 3, Lei Jun had also addressed this issue during his year-opening live stream, asserting that it was preposterous to suggest a legal staff of 7,000 and that efforts would be intensified to strengthen the legal team to counteract malicious online activities (often referred to as "blackwater armies" in Chinese internet slang).
