Xpeng Motors has officially rolled out the Xmart OS 6.0 cockpit, which boasts a completely revamped 'Light Control' design language and user interface (UI). This innovative design incorporates interactive animations driven by 'non-linear animation' techniques. The cockpit offers 3D lane-level situational awareness (SR) navigation, enables cross-scenario, multi-turn dialogues, and comes with a brand-new game center. Moreover, Xmart OS 6.0 is set to support Xpeng's Vision Language Model (VLM), which, when combined with a computational capacity of 750 tera-operations per second (TOPS), ushers the cockpit into an era of 'proactive services' that can actively sense and respond to the surrounding environment. Xpeng has also forged a deep partnership with vivo, enabling the in-car system to seamlessly receive and respond to smartphone messages. When it comes to privacy, the cockpit is equipped with a 'personalized memory vault'. Here, Xpeng's VLM and second-generation Vision-Language-Action (VLA) model collaborate to facilitate ultra-low-latency interactions with the autonomous driving system.
