On the afternoon of January 8, during its 2026 Global New Product Launch event, XPENG Motors took the stage to introduce four brand-new car models. These included the all-new, fully electric XPENG G6, the updated, fully electric XPENG G9, the XPENG G7 with an extended-range version, and the XPENG P7+, which offers both fully electric and extended-range variants. Notably, all four of these new models come equipped with XPENG's in-house-developed second-generation VLA (Vision-Language-Action) large-scale model. This marks a significant milestone as it represents the industry's first large-scale model in the physical realm to attain initial L4-level autonomous driving capabilities.

He Xiaopeng, the CEO of XPENG Motors, shared his ambitious vision for the year 2026. He announced that XPENG is poised to witness the practical implementation and large-scale production of physical AI technologies. Furthermore, the company plans to kick off operations for its Robotaxi service, a significant step towards autonomous transportation. Additionally, He Xiaopeng revealed that XPENG is set to embark on the mass production journey of humanoid robots and flying cars, heralding a new era of technological innovation and mobility.
