On January 6th, the autonomous driving mobility service platform 'Apollo Go' received a fully driverless testing license issued by Dubai's Road and Transport Authority (RTA), becoming the first and currently the only enterprise in the region authorized to conduct fully driverless testing. On the same day, its first integrated autonomous driving operations base built overseas was officially launched in Dubai. This base integrates functions such as vehicle operations, maintenance and upgrades, safety management, and personnel training, serving as the first 'smart hub' in the Middle East to support the large-scale operation of fully driverless vehicle fleets.
