This afternoon, Pony.ai made an announcement revealing that it has not only met but surpassed its 2025 target of deploying 1,000 Robotaxis. Its current fleet boasts over 1,159 vehicles, encompassing models like the GAC Aion V. Throughout this year, Pony.ai has hit numerous significant milestones. It holds the distinction of being the first company in China to successfully commercialize fully driverless Robotaxi services in major cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. In the third quarter of this year alone, Pony.ai's total revenue soared to US$25.4 million (around RMB 178 million), marking a substantial year-on-year increase of 72%. This remarkable growth can be largely attributed to the revenue generated from autonomous mobility services, as well as from technology licensing and applications. Specifically, revenue from autonomous mobility services reached US$6.7 million (approximately RMB 46.944 million), showing a significant year-on-year surge of 89.5%. What's more, passenger fare revenue witnessed an extraordinary growth of over 200% year-on-year. This impressive increase is a result of the rising demand in first-tier cities and the implementation of optimized operational and pricing strategies.
