The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in conjunction with three other key departments, has unveiled the Implementation Blueprint for Digital Transformation within the Automotive Industry. This blueprint underscores the imperative to bolster the data security safeguarding framework and elevate technological prowess. Concrete actions encompass expediting the formulation of a robust data security management system and establishing industry-specific standards for the automotive sector. It mandates the thorough identification, cataloging, classification for protection, and risk evaluation of critical data emanating from automotive industrial enterprises of a certain scale.
Concurrently, the plan advocates for the establishment of a streamlined, efficient, and secure mechanism governing cross-border data flow in the automotive industry. It directs enterprises to fortify the protection of vital data exiting national borders, while simultaneously constructing technological capabilities for exit security monitoring, log auditing, emergency response, and inspection assistance. Furthermore, the blueprint encourages the profound integration of technologies such as privacy-preserving computation and blockchain, aiming to foster a secure and reliable environment conducive to the development and utilization of automotive data.
