On the evening of December 29, ECARX (listed on Nasdaq under the ticker ECX) revealed that it had entered into a share subscription pact with Lotus Technology (trading on Nasdaq as LOT) on December 23. Under this agreement, ECARX will acquire 16,788,321 newly minted ordinary shares of Lotus Technology via a private placement, priced at US$1.37 per share, culminating in a total investment of US$23 million. The primary objective of this investment is to expand the collaborative horizons between the two entities and fortify their global partnership.
