Ford Motor Company will recall over 270,000 electric and hybrid vehicles in the United States. The recalled models include certain 2022-2026 F-150 Lightning all-electric pickup trucks, 2024-2026 Mustang Mach-E, and 2025-2026 Maverick. The recall is due to the possibility that the integrated parking module may not lock in place when the driver shifts into park, posing a risk of the vehicle rolling away. Ford will update the parking module software for affected vehicles free of charge.
