As per the Beijing Autonomous Vehicle Annual Evaluation Report for the period 2024 - 2025, Xiaomi's vehicle has successfully obtained an L3-level autonomous driving road test license in Beijing and has already kicked off regular testing. In the automotive world, an L3-level license represents a significant milestone. It indicates that the vehicle can take over some driving tasks under specific conditions, marking a step forward in the journey towards fully autonomous driving.

By the conclusion of September 2025, a total of 750 autonomous passenger vehicles, belonging to 23 companies with Xiaomi being one of them, had collectively clocked a driving distance surpassing 60.27 million kilometers. This massive accumulation of driving data is crucial for refining autonomous driving technologies, as it allows for the analysis of various real-world scenarios and the improvement of vehicle performance in different conditions.
