GAC Hyper has just dropped a video that offers an exclusive peek into the interior of its luxury sedan, the Hyper A800. This vehicle stands out with its world-record-setting 6536mm double-wrap ambient lighting system. It's outfitted with HarmonySpace, which encompasses a front-and-rear wrap-around cockpit design and a layout that does away with the need for a main light source. Adding to the luxurious feel, there's a touchscreen conveniently placed on the rear armrest, complemented by subtle blue lighting accents. On November 24, the Hyper A800 took a significant leap forward by officially launching its L3 autonomous driving road research and testing program. The vehicle demonstrated its capabilities at speeds up to 120km/h, marking it as the first model in China to secure approval for L3 highway testing at such a high velocity. The Hyper A800 had already made waves when it first debuted at the Chengdu Auto Show. With its impressive dimensions of 5130mm in length, 1966mm in width, and 1500mm in height, along with a wheelbase of 3020mm, it's a true head-turner. The vehicle is also packed with cutting-edge technology, including systems like Huawei ADS 4. According to the filing information, the Hyper A800 offers the option to be equipped with a roof-mounted LiDAR. This feature, combined with its 1.5-liter range extender and lithium iron phosphate battery, ensures that the vehicle is not just about style but also about substance and performance.
