On December 19, CFMOTO released an announcement concerning the discontinuation of the 2G network and the corresponding service assurances. Recently, the company was informed by communication operators that the 2G network would be completely decommissioned by 2026. As the 2G network is phased out, all vehicles equipped with the first-generation (2G) T-BOX will be at risk of having their intelligent connected services disrupted.

In response to this situation, CFMOTO has launched a service assurance plan. Effective immediately, the CFMOTO APP will deactivate the intelligent connected service recharge function for first-generation (2G) T-BOX vehicles. This measure is aimed at preventing users from being charged additional fees down the line. For first-generation (2G) T-BOX users who are still within the paid period for intelligent connected services, the CFMOTO APP will automatically initiate a refund for the remaining balance before January 1, 2026. The refunded amount will be returned to the original payment account. Moreover, starting from January 1, 2026, vehicle owners can contact their local authorized dealerships to make an appointment for upgrading to second-generation (4G) T-BOX services.
