On December 16, according to disclosures from the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, Volkswagen is recalling some 2025 Tiguan models, totaling 3,138 vehicles, due to a potential wiring fault in the Passenger Occupant Detection System (PODS) that could cause the airbags to fail when there is someone in the front passenger seat.
