On December 3, the findings from the 2025 China New Energy Vehicle Industry Customer Satisfaction Index (NEV-CACSI) assessment, unveiled by the China Association for Quality, indicated that the NIO EC6 emerged as the leader in customer satisfaction among pure electric mid-size SUVs. Simultaneously, NIO's after-sales service claimed the top position in customer satisfaction for the third year running. The 2025 NEV-CACSI index attained a score of 80 points (out of a possible 100), reflecting a 1-point uptick from the previous year. Both pure electric and hybrid vehicle segments registered customer satisfaction scores of 80 points. In the realm of new energy vehicles, domestic brands showcased substantial competitive edges, reaching customer satisfaction levels that rival those of joint venture brands. When it came to real-world usage, domestic brands displayed a notably lower rate of faults per 100 new vehicles in comparison to their joint venture counterparts.
