As reported on the official WeChat account of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, on December 3 (local time), Xin Guobin, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and Siobhan Rutledge, Deputy Chief Executive of New Zealand's Ministry of Transport, co-chaired the inaugural China-New Zealand New Energy Vehicle Dialogue in Wellington.
Xin Guobin emphasized that the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology is eager to collaborate with New Zealand's Ministry of Transport. Their aim is to put into practice the agreement made by the leaders of both nations, capitalize on their respective strengths, uncover opportunities for cooperation, and consistently enhance practical collaboration in sectors such as new energy vehicles, charging infrastructure, as well as green and low-carbon development. This is intended to drive further advancements in the second decade of the China-New Zealand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
Siobhan Rutledge extended a warm welcome to exceptional global new energy vehicle companies, including Chinese car manufacturers, to participate in the New Zealand market.
