On October 31, 2025, Tesla made an announcement regarding the commencement of the over-the-air (OTA) rollout of software update version 2025.32.300 for the Model Y L. This update formally activates the 'Vehicle-to-Load (V2L)' function. With this new capability, users can provide power to external devices through the use of an official adapter.
In addition to the V2L feature, the software update brings about a series of functional optimizations. For instance, it incorporates account association memory settings into the Toybox entertainment system, enabling a more personalized user experience. Moreover, the minimum temperature setting in Dog Mode has been adjusted down to 18°C, offering enhanced comfort for pets left in the vehicle. Another notable addition is the introduction of a customizable threshold for the low-battery mode, allowing users to tailor the battery warning level according to their preferences. It should be noted that certain features will be implemented in a phased manner, with the rollout schedule depending on the specific vehicle configuration.
