Earlier this month, Li Bin, the founder, chairman, and CEO of NIO, shared insights into the production and sales status of the new NIO ES8. He disclosed that the production capacity of the new ES8 will be ramped up to 15,000 units in December this year. Nevertheless, even with this capacity boost, customers placing orders now will still face a wait until April of the following year for delivery. The new NIO ES8 pure electric SUV made its official debut on the evening of September 20, boasting a price range of 406,800 to 446,800 yuan. For those opting for the battery rental plan, the price range falls between 298,800 and 338,800 yuan.
