In a bid to fulfill the directives outlined in the State Council executive meeting concerning the regulation of competitive order within the new energy vehicle sector, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Central Commission for Social Work, the Cyberspace Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Public Security, and the State Administration for Market Regulation, has collectively issued the "Notice on Initiating a Special Campaign to Rectify Online Disorder in the Automotive Industry." This joint effort aims to conduct a nationwide, three-month campaign specifically targeting online disorder in the automotive industry. The campaign's primary objectives include combating illicit profit-driven activities, curbing exaggerated and misleading advertisements, addressing malicious defamation, and other detrimental behaviors. Additionally, it seeks to enhance the efficiency of automotive companies in managing online disorder, encourage enterprises to standardize their marketing approaches, foster a positive public opinion climate, and ultimately, promote the high-quality development of the automotive industry.
