Apple had earlier revealed its plans to enable Apple Pencil support for its foldable iPhone, the iPhone Duo, within this year. Initially, the rollout of this feature was anticipated for either November or December. However, with the advent of the iOS 27.2 update, the iPhone Duo will now be able to utilize the Apple Pencil's capabilities. Several bloggers have already put this to the test, verifying that the pertinent features operate seamlessly after installing the iOS 27.2 Release Candidate (RC) version. For those early adopters who have secured the device, the wait to experience this new functionality is just a matter of days. It's crucial to highlight that this particular iPhone Duo model is exclusively compatible with the USB-C version of the Apple Pencil and does not extend support to other variants, such as the Pencil Pro or Pencil 2.
