Dong'an Powertrain, a company that has witnessed four consecutive days of its stock hitting the daily price limit, released an announcement to address recent media reports that labeled it as a concept stock related to flying cars. Dong'an Powertrain clarified that, as a listed company dedicated to automotive components, its core business revolves around the production and sale of automotive engines and transmissions. It emphasized that it does not participate in the full-scale manufacturing of flying cars. Instead, the company solely provides range extenders for customers' flying cars that are currently under development. These range extenders are already part of the company's existing product lineup, primarily utilized in range-extended vehicles. Their incorporation into flying cars signifies a modest expansion of the product's current application scenarios, necessitating only adaptive development without substantial technical modifications. At present, the product is still in the stages of trial production and the provision of tooling prototypes, and has not yet commenced mass production.
