On October 16, Apple initiated pre-orders for its inaugural foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo. Remarkably, within less than an hour, the official delivery timeline was extended to 2027. Apple's U.S. website indicated that the estimated delivery dates for all device configurations were rescheduled to late January. Approximately 20 minutes after the commencement of pre-orders, the delivery times for several configurations were further postponed to January 25. Nevertheless, customers who swiftly placed their orders at the onset of the pre-order period were still eligible to receive their devices on the official launch date of October 23.
