Projections indicate that in 2026, shipments of large foldable panels will experience a remarkable 107% year-on-year surge, propelling their market share to 81%. Conversely, clamshell panel shipments are anticipated to plummet by 59% year-on-year, resulting in a market share reduction to 16%. Multi-fold panel shipments, on the other hand, are expected to increase by 14% year-on-year, though their market share will hover steadily around 3%. Consequently, the rebound in the foldable smartphone market during 2026 will predominantly center on book-style large foldable products.
