On the 7th, Huawei took the wraps off its Mate XT 2 triple-folding smartphone in Guangzhou, a device powered by the cutting-edge Kirin 9050 Pro chip. Notably, this chip stands as the inaugural high-performance chip to incorporate logical folding technology. Through the stratification of logical units and the incorporation of vertical interconnection channels, it attains shorter signal transmission routes, reduced latency, and enhanced performance. This launch signifies Huawei's first unveiling of a novel Kirin chip at a flagship event since the worldwide debut of the Mate40 six years prior.
