Consequently, growth momentum in the three key markets—Europe, the United States, and China—has been insufficient. However, the industry is witnessing a transformative shift. Spurred by global energy efficiency regulations, energy-saving renovation initiatives, and net-zero emission targets, lighting manufacturers are moving away from traditional price-based competition. Instead, they are actively venturing into high-value-added segments such as smart lighting and specialized professional applications. This strategic pivot is steering the industry from a focus on "quantitative expansion" to an emphasis on "upgrading product structures and application values." TrendForce projects that the global LED general lighting market will expand to US$60.942 billion by 2030, growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.6% from 2025 to 2030.
