According to a report by Macworld, Apple is poised to introduce two new hardware products under its 'Ultra' brand within the next year, aiming to solidify its position in the high-end market segment. Among these offerings, the inaugural foldable iPhone will bear the moniker 'iPhone Ultra,' positioning itself as the pinnacle of the iPhone lineup. This device will boast a dual-screen configuration, featuring a 5.5-inch external display complemented by a 7.8-inch internal screen. Encased in an aerospace-grade titanium chassis and equipped with a liquid metal hinge, it will be powered by a cutting-edge 2nm process A20 Pro chip. Standard configurations will include 12GB of memory and 512GB of storage, with pricing expected to start between 14,000 and 17,000 yuan. The top-tier variant could potentially surpass the 20,000 yuan mark. Additionally, Apple is also in the process of developing the MacBook Ultra laptop, which is anticipated to feature an OLED touchscreen and will be positioned as a premium offering above the MacBook Pro, commanding a substantially higher price point. Initially slated for a 2026 release, both new products have been pushed back to the first half of 2027 due to challenges within the supply chain.
