On December 25, data released by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology revealed that in November 2025, the domestic mobile phone market witnessed shipments of 30.161 million units, marking a 1.9% year-on-year increase. Notably, 5G phone shipments reached 27.614 million units, up by 1.1% year-on-year and constituting 91.6% of the total mobile phone shipments for the same period. Over the first eleven months of 2025, the cumulative shipment volume of mobile phones in the domestic market amounted to 282 million units, showing a 0.9% year-on-year rise. Meanwhile, 5G phone shipments totaled 244 million units, up 1.3% year-on-year and accounting for 86.6% of the total mobile phone shipments during that timeframe.
