During the initial 10-month period of this year, China's electronic information manufacturing sector sustained a steady growth trajectory in production. Notably, smartphone production soared to 1.02 billion units, marking a 0.7% year-on-year increase. Meanwhile, integrated circuit production surged to 386.6 billion units, reflecting a robust 10.2% year-on-year surge. The added value generated by the electronic information manufacturing industry, above a designated scale, witnessed a 10.6% year-on-year uptick, with October alone recording an 8.9% year-on-year expansion.

In terms of financial performance, the industry's operating revenue soared to RMB 14 trillion, representing an 8.3% year-on-year hike. The total profit reached RMB 570 billion, a significant 12.8% year-on-year leap, while the operating revenue profit margin saw a marginal 0.1 percentage point increase compared to the first nine months of the year. Regarding exports, the cumulative export delivery value registered a 1% year-on-year rise, encompassing the export of 112 million laptops, 608 million mobile phones, and a staggering 292.7 billion integrated circuits.
