Recently, an international market research firm unveiled data pertaining to the mainland China tablet market for the third quarter of 2025. During this quarter, market shipments experienced a robust year-on-year growth of 9%, totaling 8.8 million units. However, the competitive dynamics among top brands underwent a substantial transformation. Specifically, Apple's iPad shipments witnessed a dramatic 14% year-on-year decrease, falling to 2 million units. Consequently, its market share shrank from 29% to 23%. In contrast, Lenovo emerged as the brand with the fastest single-quarter growth, boasting a 71% year-on-year increase. Both Lenovo and Xiaomi achieved shipments of 900,000 units each, propelling Lenovo's market share from 6% to 10%.
