Recently, a number of users have taken to social media to report an unusual issue with their orange iPhone 17 Pro or iPhone 17 Pro Max. Specifically, they've noticed that the metal frames of their devices have undergone a color transformation, shifting from orange to pink. Interestingly, the color of the glass back remains as it was originally. Other users have also highlighted that the shade within the camera platform area appears darker compared to the surrounding frame. This color discrepancy persists even when a transparent protective case is used. Based on expert analysis, the color alteration could potentially stem from the degradation of the anodized layer, environmental influences (such as exposure to high temperatures, ultraviolet rays, and moisture), or the presence of certain chemicals in cleaning agents. Apple has officially advised users to steer clear of cleaning agents that contain bleach or hydrogen peroxide, as these substances can harm the oxide layer and subsequently lead to discoloration. At present, this issue seems to be an isolated incident and has not been observed on a widespread scale.
