Recently, photos have emerged online, revealing a substantial number of MSI-branded RTX 5090 graphics cards (specifically, the Ventus 3X variant) making an appearance somewhere within the Chinese market. This has triggered a flurry of market speculation.

In response to this situation, MSI has issued an official statement. The company clarified that it has never engaged in the official sale or distribution of RTX 5090 graphics cards in the Chinese market. The current presence of this particular model in the domestic market is a result of unauthorized channels. These graphics cards are classified as parallel imports, which are more commonly known in the industry as 'gray market goods'. This situation is entirely unrelated to MSI's official sales policy.

MSI further emphasized that these graphics cards predominantly originate from overseas retail markets. They have not gone through the official MSI supply chain. As a result, they do not come with the standard quality assurance or warranty policies that are typically associated with officially distributed products. Therefore, MSI strongly advises against purchasing these graphics cards.
