During the third quarter of 2025, the global smartphone shipment volume registered a 4% year-on-year increase. This growth was mainly propelled by the robust expansion in the Asia-Pacific region, as well as the Middle East and Africa areas. Samsung emerged as the global leader, securing a 19% market share. Meanwhile, Apple's shipment volume experienced a 9% year-on-year uptick, marking the fastest growth rate among the top five smartphone brands. Xiaomi, on the other hand, managed to retain its third-place ranking, boasting a 14% market share. Additionally, Google's shipment volume saw an 18% year-on-year surge.
