At the 2025 China Helicopter Development Forum, the Civil Aircraft Systems Engineering Research Center of China's Aviation Industry released the Annual Report on China Market Forecast for Civil Helicopters (2025-2034). The report predicts that by 2029, China's civil helicopter fleet will surpass 1,700 units. Affected by the substitution of new low-altitude equipment such as drones and eVTOLs, the growth rate will slow down after 2030, and it is expected that the fleet size will exceed 2,000 units by 2034.
