EHang Intelligent Aviation Technology Co., Ltd. has just introduced its latest innovation: the new-generation, long-range autonomous manned aircraft, the VT35. The standard version of this aircraft is priced at an official guide price of 6.5 million yuan for the Chinese market. Building upon the foundation of the VT30 prototype, this upgraded model boasts a compound-wing electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) design, making it ideally suited for medium- to long-distance transportation needs.

The VT35 offers an impressive full-load range of approximately 200 kilometers, with a maximum takeoff weight of 950 kilograms. Its dimensions are equally notable, featuring a length of 8 meters, a height of 3 meters, and a wingspan also measuring 8 meters. In a significant development, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) accepted EHang's application for a type certificate in March 2025, marking the commencement of the airworthiness certification process.
