In October 2025, DJI rolled out its Double 11 (Singles' Day) promotional campaign, slashing prices on several products by several hundred to over a thousand yuan. Specifically, the standard version of the Pocket 3 witnessed a price reduction of 700 yuan, whereas the all-inclusive package dropped by 900 yuan. Yet, a significant number of buyers have taken to social media to voice their dissatisfaction, citing quality control issues with their newly acquired Pocket 3 units. These problems include scratches on the device's body, misaligned gimbals, and air bubbles trapped beneath the screen protector, casting doubt on the overall quality of DJI's offerings.

Furthermore, a substantial group of customers who had bought the device at its original price prior to the holiday are now taking steps to safeguard their rights in light of the price reduction. They are demanding refunds for the price difference or full returns. It's worth noting that the policies regarding this issue differ between online and offline sales channels. Some online platforms have implemented a 7-day price protection policy and a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy. In contrast, physical stores typically do not provide price protection services. Some brick-and-mortar retailers only offer refunds for the price difference on orders placed within the last 7 days, a situation that has sparked widespread consumer discontent.
