Apple’s anticipated second-generation smart glasses are set to include built-in displays within the lenses, with the potential to switch between operating modes depending on the device they are paired with. According to well-known technology journalist Mark Gurman, writing in his “Power On” newsletter, when these glasses are connected to a Mac computer, they will be capable of running the full visionOS operating system. However, when linked to an iPhone, the glasses will automatically transition to a streamlined, more mobile-optimized interface.
