According to the official website of the Shenzhen Municipal Postal Administration, on the occasion of the 56th World Post Day, Huang Junming, who serves as both the Secretary of the Party Group and the Director of the Administration, announced in a public address that Shenzhen has made significant strides in smart delivery services. Presently, drones in Shenzhen are responsible for transporting an average of 20,000 express parcels daily, whereas unmanned vehicles manage the delivery of over 70,000 parcels each day. Shenzhen is in the process of establishing a low-altitude delivery network, with the city at its core and extending to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. To support this initiative, eight drone operation bases have been set up, boasting a fleet of 175 drones. Additionally, 449 air routes have been established, spanning six districts within the city, as well as intercity and cross-sea routes. Concurrently, Shenzhen is motivating companies to enhance their unmanned shuttle vehicle technology and pioneer a hybrid delivery model that integrates "unmanned vehicles + couriers." To date, 115 unmanned vehicles have been deployed across five districts.
