Reports indicate that Apple's soon-to-be-released iPad Pro will undergo two significant enhancements: the integration of the Apple M5 chip and a boost in the minimum RAM capacity to 12GB. Just last week, Russian YouTube channels Wylsacom and Romancev768 posted unboxing videos showcasing the new 13-inch iPad Pro. Notably, these same channels had accurately leaked the 14-inch MacBook Pro equipped with the M4 chip a year prior, which adds substantial credibility to their latest revelation. The videos reveal that while the new iPad Pro maintains a design reminiscent of its predecessor, it boasts substantial upgrades in terms of RAM and chip performance. Based on Geekbench 6 test results, the M5 chip exhibits a 12% increase in multi-core CPU performance compared to the M4, along with a 36% enhancement in graphics processing capabilities. Moreover, the iPad Pro model with 256GB of storage will be outfitted with 12GB of RAM, aligning it with the specifications of the iPhone 17 Pro series.
