The third installment of subsidy funds for the national trade-in programs has been disbursed, with Taobao and Tmall pioneering the claim process on August 26. This round of national subsidies has seen a significant expansion in its scope, incorporating smart lights, study tables and chairs, and study machines into the eligible categories for the first time, offering a generous maximum subsidy of 20%. Additionally, consumers can avail a 15% subsidy on 3C digital products priced below 6,000 yuan, including mobile phones, tablets, smartwatches, and bracelets, with a maximum discount capped at 500 yuan.
