Upon the release of Windows 11 24H2, Microsoft encountered compatibility challenges with certain game anti-cheat systems, notably Easy Anti-Cheat, which malfunctioned, causing game crashes or rendering them unplayable. This problem disproportionately impacted systems equipped with Intel Alder Lake+ processors and vPro platforms, specifically those with Easy Anti-Cheat drivers installed prior to April 2024. Microsoft has now addressed this hurdle, and as of July 24, 2025, affected users can seamlessly install the updated version via Windows Update, with push notifications expected to be sent out shortly.
