Heavy localized rainfall has triggered floods exceeding warning levels in 10 rivers spanning Yunnan, Guangxi, Guangdong, and other regions. Notably, the Nanwa River in Yunnan has surpassed its guaranteed flood level. Additionally, the Xiata River, a tributary of the Ili River in Xinjiang, has also breached its warning level due to snowmelt accelerated by high temperatures. In response, the Ministry of Water Resources has maintained a Level IV emergency response for Guangdong, Guangxi, and Hainan, and has deployed working teams to aid in flood prevention efforts.
