China National Nuclear Power has unveiled plans to invest 1 billion yuan in acquiring shares of China Fusion Energy Co., Ltd. At present, Fusion Energy operates as a wholly-owned subsidiary under the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC). This transaction also encompasses joint investments totaling approximately 11.492 billion yuan from CNNC, PetroChina Kunlun Capital, Shanghai Future Fusion Energy Technology, National Green Development Fund, Zhejiang Zheneng Electric Power, and Sichuan Zhongke Fusion Energy Technology. Notably, while this constitutes a related-party transaction, it falls short of meeting the criteria for a significant asset reorganization.
