Shanghai's Hongqiao International Central Business District has proudly launched the city's inaugural 'Cross-Border E-commerce + Industry Cluster' pilot zone, attracting an impressive 130 cross-border e-commerce enterprises and related businesses. With an export transaction volume amounting to 1.609 billion yuan, this zone is dedicated to fostering five key industrial clusters: smart manufacturing, smart home, and fashion & beauty. Its primary objectives are to foster the integration of the 'digital economy + real economy', establish a comprehensive service ecosystem, aid enterprises in cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, and nurture homegrown brands. By implementing innovative strategies like the 'Ocean Shipping List', the zone facilitates customs clearance, creates a scalable 'Shanghai Model', and propels the high-quality development of foreign trade.
