The prototype of the CR450 electric multiple unit (EMU) is set to make its debut in Beijing in 2025. Engineered to attain a maximum speed of 450 km/h, it can operationally reach a top speed of 400 km/h, thus cementing its position as the fastest high-speed train in the world. This EMU boasts remarkable advancements in lightweight design, energy efficiency, environmental friendliness, passenger comfort, and safety. Currently, the CR450 has successfully completed its type tests and is poised to enter a year-long phase of practical application testing.
