On October 21, 2026, NVIDIA unveiled an enhanced version of its Isaac open robotics development platform. This upgrade encompasses the introduction of a humanoid robot reference architecture, comprehensive datasets, the Isaac OS runtime framework, the advanced robot learning framework Isaac Lab 3.0, and an array of robot learning tools. Concurrently, NVIDIA launched the SimReady Central Library, a repository boasting over 2,000 robots and factory assets primed for simulation. Additionally, it released three open-source reference workflows, built upon the DGX Station, to facilitate robot reinforcement learning, dexterous manipulation training, and the generation of post-training and synthetic data for the Cosmos world model. This strategic update is designed to streamline the entire pipeline—from data generation and model training to simulation validation and real-world deployment—thereby expediting the development of versatile, general-purpose robots.
